Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The compliance-matrix tool is free, with no account and no credit card. It does not use AI, so it costs us very little to run. Limits apply to keep it available for everyone: files up to 15 MB and a cap on how many solicitations you can process per hour.
Does it use AI?
No. The free tool is rule-based pattern matching: it looks for shall/must language, section numbering and standard solicitation headings. That makes it fast and predictable, but it is not a substitute for reading the solicitation. Always check the results against the full document and all amendments.
What file types can I upload?
PDF, DOCX and TXT, up to 15 MB. You can also paste the text directly. Scanned PDFs that contain only images and no selectable text cannot be read.
Is my solicitation kept private?
Files are processed in memory and are not stored. See the privacy page for details.
